Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Assessments
Melanie offers neurodiversity-affirming autism and ADHD assessments for adults, focusing on understanding and celebrating each individual’s unique strengths and experiences. Using evidence-based tools, including the MIGDAS-2 and DIVA-5, Melanie creates a supportive and collaborative assessment process that values your authentic self. These assessments aim to provide clarity, self-understanding, and helpful insights to empower you in advocating for your needs and accessing appropriate supports.
Standard Therapy Consultation - $250
Standard therapy sessions are 50-60 mins.
ADHD Assessment - $1600
Autism Assessment - $1800
ADHD and Autism Combined Assessment - $2250
Payment for therapy appointments is due at the time of your session, and are conveniently processed through our online practice management system. For assessments, payments are made in three parts: a deposit to secure your appointment, a second payment after the initial session, and the final payment before the release of your report. Please note, we do not offer bulk billing.

Rebate Options
Medicare
If you have a valid GP referral under the Better Access to Mental Health initiative (Mental Health Care Plan), you are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. This means the fees are as follows:
Total fee payable on the day: $250
Medicare rebate (reimbursed to your nominated bank account): $141.85
Out-of-pocket cost: $108.15
Private health
Some private health funds offer coverage for psychology services. Please check with your provider regarding eligibility and the claiming process. If you intend to claim, let us know so we can issue the appropriate receipt.
NDIS
We are not currently NDIS registered providers. As such, we can only accept self-managed NDIS clients. You will be required to pay the full session fee at the time of your appointment, and then you can submit a copy of your receipt to your NDIS plan manager for reimbursement.
